Investment in electric vehicles
John K. Philips is proud to operate an extensive modern fleet from our base in Warrington, close to the M62, allowing us to distribute a wide range of goods throughout the UK and further afield.
This includes 35 trucks and 32 trailers.
In 2025, it’s expected that more companies will adopt green logistics and opt for fuel-efficient vehicles and low-emission transportation.
Whilst we already have 20 electric vehicle (EV) charging stations outside our green warehouse, we will be adding more EVs to our fleet over the next 12 months – helping to reduce carbon emissions across supply chains.
Embrace technological advances
Technology is set to redefine the logistics and supply chain industry and, for us, green logistics are at the heart of everything we do.
Our team can optimise your supply chain from start to end – whether it be using recyclable materials or using the most carbon-efficient methods for warehousing, inventory management, or transportation.
We’re also looking at how advances in artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) will enable real-time tracking, optimised route planning, and predictive maintenance – ultimately improving efficiency while saving money at the same time.

We have 80 members of staff – including Accord Dangereux Routier (ADR)-trained drivers who can transport specialist freight.
We take all the appropriate measures to ensure the safety of our team and you can trust your goods are in safe hands – both at our warehouse in Warrington and out on the open road.

2024 not only marked our 50th year in business but our successful move from St Helens to Europa Boulevard in Westbrook, Warrington.
Since our humble beginnings, John K. Philips has grown steadily by 15% per year, and we aim to continue expanding at this rate in the years to come.
